After leaving the Meditterannean Sea and the Rivieras behind, the trip continued into France. Our first stop was at a perfume factory (Fragonard) and then to Aix-En-Provence. We later travelled to Avignon to visit the Palais des Papes in Avignon, a giant Medieval castle in which the Pope lived at other than the Vatican. One of the more interesting places of interest in the Southern region of France.
