06 VENICE – Architectural Biennale 2014: Arsenale & Giardini

Every even year, Venice hosts the Architectural Biennale. The curator of this year’s exhibition is Rem Koolhaas, a world renown Dutch architect from the office of OMA. The theme: “Elements of Architecture” in which the components which make up architectural spaces is examined throughout their uses and ideas in history.

Photos are from the Arsenale (shipyard) and Giardini (Garden). As a result of my selfish wanting to experience the exihibit, I did not take many pictures. For more professional photos from the Biennale, please see the DESIGN BOOM article HERE.
